We understand the importance of gifts arriving by the selected delivery date. The smiles, the awe, and the surprise is the reason we fulfill orders by the date specified. We’ll do everything in our power to ensure on-time delivery. Note that due to the nationwide pandemic UPS is experiencing some unusual delays and therefore we do not guarantee delivery on the exact date. We strongly advise scheduling your gifts to be delivered 1 day ahead of your celebration.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority at Balloons In The Box. If for any reason you wish to cancel your order, please reach out to our customer service team at sales@balloonsinthebox.com. We will do our best to cancel your order within 24 hours of the order being placed, but this can only be done if the order has not been processed yet and a shipping label has not been created.

The recipient will access the recording by scanning a barcode on the greeting card. Laughter and joy will come their way as they will listen to your heartfelt greeting!

Please note that modifications can only be made before the order is processed. Once the order has been processed we can no longer edit the text of your greeting. Reach out to our customer service team to check if modifications can still be made to the order.

We ship in accordance with the UPS schedule based on our warehouse locations. The faster UPS can deliver to your location, the earlier dates will be available to select.

At checkout, while entering delivery information you will select a delivery date on the calendar. Please note, that orders arrive within 2 days of the selected delivery date and we do our best to have them delivered on the actual selected delivery date.

Deliveries are typically made between the hours of 10:00 AM and 9 PM. We are unable to guarantee the time of delivery, as this depends on our affiliates’ delivery schedule in your service area. You can check the estimated time of arrival at your location with UPS.

Email the correct shipping address to sales@balloonsinthebox.com, or visit our Contact Us page to send us the correct shipping information. We will acknowledge your email within 24 hrs and update the shipping address. Please note that we cannot guarantee a change of address if the order was already fulfilled.

Orders ship in accordance with the UPS schedule. Even though you place your order enough in advance, your order will still ship on the required date. For example, shipping to NJ takes 1 day, so the order will be fulfilled a day before the selected delivery date. Though shipping to Virginia takes 2 days, so the order will systematically be fulfilled 2 days before the selected delivery date. We cannot accept any balloons as a return for a refund. Please do not ship us balloons as a return. However, if your order was returned to us as ‘undeliverable’ by UPS, we will investigate the issue. Customer satisfaction is our priority. If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact our customer service department within 30 days of your purchase for a courteous solution.

Actual flying times will also depend on temperature and atmospheric conditions. Helium is sensitive to temperature changes. Cold air causes the helium to shrink, which makes the balloon appear to deflate, although it still floats. Heat can cause the helium to expand and the balloon to burst. Keeping the balloon in a stable environment is the best way to keep it lasting.

With the right care and attention, your balloon will float for 2-3 days after delivery. We have a special insulated foil to keep the balloon inflated throughout shipping. Unfortunately, sometimes a balloon may burst and/or deflate in transit. Just like a physical balloon store, we cannot predict what will happen to a balloon after it leaves our facility, but we take reasonable precautions to prevent breakage.
